Can I get some help with my complaint? They are just making me run in circles now. They keep insisting there is a bank account attached to my credit card.

All I did was use my credit card to deposit using apple pay, which I have done at dozens of sites and at 3 of the sites under the same management (queenspins/roby/ricky casino) and none of them were having this issue or misunderstanding of how the credit card works (pay by credit card, withdraw to a bank account THAT ARE NOT LINKED TO EACH OTHER), verification was no problem and withdrawal was fine... probably going to take me over a month if not more to actually get the money which is crazy

Hello there.

Thank you for all the updates.

I can see that it really must be frustrating for you to go through this whole situation, so hopefully we will be able to help you out.

I will notify your complaint resolver Nick regarding all this and ask him to try and move forward with your complaint, for sure. I am sorry for the late response from our complaint team; it is just that they are really very busy at this time. But do not worry at all; we'll do everything possible to help you out.

Please know that it is nothing unusual that players are supposed to withdraw by the same payment method as they used for their deposit. This is how it works at most online casinos, really.

Your credit card should really be linked to a bank account, as they told you. Isn't it like that? Do you have an online banking to this account, perhaps, where you can pay for all the money withdrawn from your credit card?

That is what they meant, I believe, and that is the account you should use to withdraw your money.

Could you check that, please, and update us about everything?

Hello thanks for reply, maybe it works differently overseas but here in Australia you can have credit cards from any bank or lender and it will never be directly linked to a bank account.

You can have a bank account and credit card under the same account and same bank however they are treated as separate entities.

You can setup the bank account to direct debit to pay off the credit card, but there is no possible way to send money to the credit card via bank transfer.

this is the credit card they are wanting me to provide a bank account for, Latitude is a financial institution that provides credit cards and loans. They do not have any bank accounts available

Probably best explanation of how it works is here, my 28 degrees is purely a credit card, not a debit card that has 'dual network' capability - https://moneysmart.gov.au/banking/transaction-accounts-and-debit-cards

Debit versus credit cards
When you use a debit card to pay for things, you are spending the money in your account. If there's no money in the account, you can't make a purchase.
When you use a credit card, you borrow money that you will have to pay back with interest.
Using a debit card is less risky than using a credit card, because you can't run up a debt.
Some debit cards are 'dual network cards', which means you can also use them as a credit card. If you do use your debit card as a credit card, you could be charged high interest. You might end up paying more than you would on a regular credit card.
If you are switching from a credit card to a debit card to avoid debt, make sure your debit card does not have a credit option.

I understand what you mean. It is that, as I remember from my days in Australia, I had a bank account in Westpac, and I had my debit card, and of course you could ask for a credit card as well. Right? So that is what I meant—that it is synched to an account at some bank where you then send the money from to repay the credit card.

So, if I may ask, what way do you repay for that credit card? I don't fully understand it, you know.

And by the way, have you explained it this way to the casino and told them what kind of credit card you used for the deposit?

the credit card has a balance you can BPAY (Australia payment method) or direct debit to pay/pay at the post office. Having a bank account in same account as credit card has no direct consequence, you can use any bank account to bpay or direct debit the amount owed

I have explained to them a few times so maybe it was confusion on how it works here but it really depends who was handling the ticket. The withdrawal has been approved after my complaint was forwarded to a member in here and I’ve received the money in my bank account

not sure if the CG team contacted them or the person who was handling my withdrawal at the casino came back, some of the support staff seem to have different access/understanding

Thank you so much for the explanation. This really helps.

And, of course, I am very glad you have received your money, finally, and your case can be successfully closed now.

What do you reckon, though? Will you play again there?
