If a casino has your home address/phone number and so on...because they allowed you to create an account with them, then they should obviously know whether you are in an accepted jurisdiction or not right??? If they go and let you deposit and play for weeks or months before they decide to block you because come to find out you are not allowed to play in your jurisdiction...you should be refunded all deposits you have made right??!! I made a complaint and still they are holding my deposit money! Alledgedly their OP or whatever read I was in Canada...whose fault is that? This is so frustrating....Idk if I can trust any of these casino's or trust a complaint is gonna help 🙁

I believe that the point is that account verification as well as the KYC verification is triggered when you place the first withdrawal request - not when you make a deposit.

I still don't understand the IP locations, especially if you confirmed that the VPN was not involved.

Let's wait for some further progress in your complaint.

I don't know what OP means either...

Hello again,

If I may guess, I would say that "OP" refers to you. Please check this statement the casino added to your complaint:

file

So I assume that "P" goes for "player".

The casino also suggested that you've submitted more complaints related to the same issue.

Well, I don't want to repeat my question, but is it possible that you use some app for safer browsing, some additional protection with multiple options that can somehow alter your location? Because the original purpose of VPN - virtual personal network - is to provide enhanced security for users while being active on the internet.

I just can't come up with anything else at the moment.

No actually this is the first complaint I have ever made... So what they're saying doesn't make any sense if that's what they're trying to say. Never filed no complaint with any other Casino nor with them except for this one period.

Hello,

I think it would be wise to wait for Peter. I honestly think that I can't come up with an explanation. So let's wait for some resolution.

I'm eager to see what would it be.

Can or can't*?

laurahutson96

Well, can't. I have no other ideas about what possibly happened other than the VPN was used.

See and I have no idea how to use vpn's... I just googled what is a vpn...something bout a private network and website I found wanted me to try it for some price. Sounds like something a robot would use to scam or bug somebody. In my world there's no use for such a thing.

It seems to me that the truth is not on your side (If gambling is prohibited in your country, you can't perform such actions.

2 Ă„r sedan

Well lucky for me gambling is not prohibited in the United States of America... For your information the casino we are talking about in particular is restricted in my jurisdiction

2 Ă„r sedan

Lol well I should have said was"no comment" lol...

Hello,

as I tried to explain this VPN (virtual personal network) is mainly used to secure the user while browsing websites. 🙂

Along with other things, it changes your IP address, so the website you're browsing "thinks" you're somewhere else. And this is the catch and the reason why VPN is mostly prohibited while playing in an online casino. You can bypass restricted countries, and possibly create an account while using VPN services, normally you could not access the site.

Well, let's see what comes next. đŸ€ž

Google Chrome? Google Chrome is the web browser I use...

Again I don't use VPN, I don't find it necessary and I don't even know how to use VPN... Anyhow did you see what I found in my email today? file

fileUnsuscribed, I don't know why I'm all of a sudden getting promotions when I never did before but I get them when I'm not even allowed on their site anymore. Since this whole situation has happened with BC game, I make it a point to chat with support at every online casino that I might take an interest in to make 100% sure that they are USA friendly and I screenshot their response... Hard lesson learned so I'm being extra cautious now.

Hello, I replied to you here:

I would preferably stick to only one thread about the very same complaint, however.

Probably because those announcements are sent by some 3rd party and it takes some time to update recipients from the casino's side. And this particular one sounds like the kind of offer they sent to all players without any exceptions.

But honestly, who knows for sure.

Being extra cautious is a good attitude, I must say. It's just sad that those lessons are so uncomfortable.

I must have gotten confused and replied on the wrong post sry... The one complaint with bc game is the only complaint I have and the only complaint I ever made so everyone has clear on that. Anyhow, yeah somehow I was able to play on blitz star casino, but we caught it before I ever made a deposit. What I won on was a no deposit bonus just so everyone has that clear, I never deposited with them though. What happened was I sent them a message about how I was concerned about playing USA casino games and also wanted to comment on their Elvis the frog game which I loved...they replied with "oh well sorry to inform you we had to block your account because we don't accept players from United States". I was bummed... And it's something they should have caught onto right away as I did apply my address when I registered for the account. I didn't complain because there was no loss. I wonder if I would have deposited before this if they would have accepted it though? Or is he digital trail (payment from USA) really not a red flag either? Mean is what happened with BC game common or not? Technology has gotten so far you would think it would be real easy for them to put a stop to something like this before it gets crazy like this.... Does that make sense to you?
