Hi,

Just a quick question. What is the difference between casinos being listed as having the same owner, same management, or same affiliate?

Thanks!

Hello Japo.

It defines the strength of the relationship if the casinos have the same owner; it means that the strength is strong. On the contrary, the same affiliate program means that relationship is weak—this affecting all casinos in the group.

Hey! Thanks for the answer 🙂

what about owner vs management? Which one is stronger connection?

Also does this have any bearing on the player? I know e.g. sometimes there’s a bonus limit or win cap across a group. Is this only if it’s same owner, or will you see it also with same affiliate?

The owner one is strongest, management is a bit weaker but still significant, and affiliate is weakest. Yes, most of the time, the casinos in the group share the same rules. But not only about the bonuses - they usually have a similar approach for complaint solving, their terms and conditions etc. This is an excellent indication that if some of the casinos in the group does not behave nicely, there is a chance that others will do the same sooner or later.

I partnered with Jackpot.bet under an affiliate agreement that was never fulfilled. They made only partial payments, then abandoned the agreement midway after a large player payout dispute. It took them over 3 months to pay the player, with poor communication and no transparency.

Their struggle to cover accepted bets, vague responses, and refusal to pay business contracts suggest deeper financial problems. They appear unable or unwilling to pay players, partners, or honor agreements.

I was left with $45,000 unpaid, plus lost commissions and investment. Despite repeated attempts, Jackpot.bet has avoided settlement.

Hello, this is very much the risk of an affiliate job, I guess. I'm sorry, but since this forum is solely for casino players, I doubt your post will elicit any reactions. Instead I recommend focusing on the forum for affiliate business, the GPWA page: https://www.gpwa.org/forum/

Best of luck.

Risk of an affiliate job? What do you mean? Are you saying it’s more risky to expect payment for work and services a casino contractually agrees to than it is for a player to place a bet? One is gambling, the other is business. If casinos can default on business agreements without consequence, then the entire premise of fair gaming collapses.

No, I mean I don't know anyone who can support you. Hence, it might be a cool job but this is the risk. Based on what others have written in that regard, it really sounds like a risk to me. I hope the other forum holds something of value for you.
