They did the exact same with me for 5.50!! but my bank blocked it as was in the middle of the night.


Just to add half of my transactions changed to 'freshbet' a few weeks after this. Still has wmbsc at the bottom of the transaction page but so dodgy!!

Wow seriously? They changed the name? I didn’t even know that was possible. did you contact them via email before this happened?

No but I bank with Monzo who decline anything gambling related so I'm gathering my evidence and going to dispute. I went to the casino first and the merchants are next. I had downloaded my statement so can see in black and white they've changed it.

These aren't just shady in terms of casinos, these are people who hold sensitive data too. Who knows what they do with it.

I know, and clearly their intentions are not good otherwise they wouldn’t have tried to use my details! It’s frightening what they have access to. Once I’ve got my money back through chargebacks etc I’m never going anywhere near online gambling again

And yes, that exact reason was why I requested an account closure right away. Although I don't see that changing them from withholding personal info.
