Hello all!

I just stumbled upon an article recently published on

Casino Guru News and I thought it would be worth a discussion.

It's called What exactly can AI do for iGaming brands?

What do you think about the increasing influence AI technology is constantly gaining across all industries?

Are you excited or rather worried a bit?

We would love to hear your thoughts! Please feel free to share them with us. đŸ€”

Waiting for the "Wanna withdraw your winnings ? Shame, our behavioral AI has determined that your practices were against our T&C. Sorry not sorry đŸ€·"...

Jokes aside, I see 2 things :

  • Classic support, it can be an efficient first line customer agent. IF well trained and with strong safeguard of course. An AI might even be better at reading T&C than human agents sometimes...
  • Also for customizing the gaming experience : frequent customized offers that would match the player's style while fitting the casino's goals (💾) + adaptative interface w/ only the user's interests... That could bring some good dynamic. Each player could get its own personalized experience

Good one! ✹🙌

Now seriously:

first point: yep, a support agent with a good personality but slightly worse in written form or with slow orientation in long texts could surely be more efficient with AI "HELLo (joke!), I'm Andromeda! My pleasure to assist you today. We are an efficient team!"

second point: I'm a bit skeptical 😀 Many players tend to perceive visual or other differences as a mark of technical glitch or expect games to be "altered"... I think you know what I mean.

When AI comes in, well, games will never be the same for all of us. An interesting perspective in an industry so sensitive to trustworthiness.

As far as I know, some casinos have been using AI for document verification for a long time, but it's not so much about gambling as it is about KYC automation in general

When I first began playing, I heard rumors that Netent uses AI to analyze player behavior and thus adjusts the Volatility of the slot to keep the player in the game as long as possible.... I don't know how true this is, but if it's implementable, it's dangerous

For the second point I was not necessarily seeing something super impactful visually. But more automated reorganization of what is being pushed forward to the player to better match his habits.

Like a classic "You might like this game >>> " based on behavior's analysis, stuff like that

I think I'm reading behind the lines. 🙂 It really sounds more comfortable in your diction though.

I would take that as a reasonable tool if approached and set correctly in regard to players' needs.

On the other hand, I'm very hesitant about anything related to altering or tempering the game mechanism. This is the way to hell. Once the trust in RNG is lost there is almost no way to get it back without significant losses.

My point of view.
