People who make money from casinos

I know and treat gambling as entertainment. But my friend and I were recently discussing, are there people who get regular profits from casinos, not the owners, but the players? I'm not talking about poker, but about slots or live games, is it possible in principle?

I don't think so. There are people who can play blackjack quite successfully, because the game has a very low house edge. There are people who claim to have profit on roulette, but it's unclear. When it comes to slots, the advantage is always on the casino's side.
