Hi. Thanks so much for your help with everything. Thanks to everyone else too. They have completely ignored my email from 6 august. almost 2 weeks and no reply at all. You reckon it’s worth sending a chaser? also what can i add, here’s what i said:

Dear Transactworld Team,

I am writing to ask you to review transactions made with my card on your network.

I have reason to believe that the merchant, or merchants, involved were miscoding these transactions and using your network to bypass gambling and other high-risk transaction blocks.

My details are as follows:

Background

The transactions in question were deposits to online gambling operators, principally WinBeast Casino. They were not presented to me or to my card issuer as gambling transactions. They appeared on my statements under ordinary, non-gambling merchant descriptors, including:

Aibrush, Artirush, Ravora, Scudot, Ventira, Vntra, Imgvibes, Bestboost_Pro, Jewelbirdsrescue, cactip3*, Exin Geno, Rogue Kit, Cnsltitans, Mlsystems, Vocaloidy and Take_Your_Goods, Visioncroft.

I understand that Aibrush is processed through your network. I do not know which of the remaining descriptors you also acquire for, which is why I am asking for a review across the card rather than a single merchant.

Two points seem relevant to your position as acquirer:

1. Gambling transactions on UK credit cards have been prohibited since April 2020. Because these payments were coded as ordinary retail purchases, they were processed on a UK credit card in circumstances where they should not have been accepted at all, and my card issuer's gambling controls had no opportunity to decline them.

2. The UK Gambling Commission has confirmed in writing (reference XXXX) that WinBeast Casino holds no licence with them and is transacting with me illegally. I am also registered with GamStop, the UK national self-exclusion scheme, under an exclusion that has been continuously active since X March 2026 and cannot be lifted before X March 2031. The self-exclusion was in force throughout the period these payments were taken.

Why I am contacting you directly

I raised these transactions with Barclaycard. They declined the chargebacks and advised me that my remaining option was to contact the merchant directly. A complaint remains open with them (reference XXXX) and no findings have been issued. I am therefore approaching you as the party responsible for the merchant category coding, on my card issuer's own advice.

What I am asking for

1. A review of all transactions made with the card ending XXXX across your network.

2. Confirmation of which of the merchant descriptors listed above are processed by you.

3. Refund of the transactions identified by that review.

I hold full statements and a transaction-level schedule showing dates, amounts and descriptors, and I am happy to provide these, or the card expiry date and any further identification you require, on request.

I would be grateful if you could confirm receipt and let me know what you need from me to progress this.

Yeah i showed screenshots of the funds landing in my casino account. It hasn't worked for all my merchants though. Yet other people with same merchants have had there's raised🤨

I’m waiting on decisions on the ones that were raised by the agent. I did manage to get 2 merchants refunded when I raised them myself- Key4u and Solarbee.

My current chargebacks are for;

Nearly 80 transactions and a 5 figure total so we’ll see how it goes. I will update the group as soon as I hear!

Reply to them use chat gpt. Sate please acknowledge my refund request before I go to my bank and do a chargeback and the chargeback will go against you and your processor.
