Sounds like a lot of this confusion comes from mixing up card purchases vs wallet/Payesafe top‑ups vs bank transfer rails. If the Skrill rep says it was "Payesafe top ups", they’ll often treat it as a wallet funding issue, even if the descriptor on the statement looks like a random merchant (Barrel Runner / Online Monitoring etc)

We are writing to GURU CASINO FORUM and MASTERCARD for formally bring to your attention a serious incident involving unauthorized 3DS) transaction authentication linked to the online gambling platform cashboxcasino.com (redirecting to cashboxcasino3.com) and to request an investigation into the associated merchant activity under Acquirer ID 15554, identified on the Mastercard network as Nuvei Limited.

A cardholder attempted to make a single deposit of 21.00 EUR on the above-mentioned gambling website. The payment was initiated using a Mastercard card. During the checkout process, the user was redirected to a 3DS confirmation page displaying the merchant descriptor "14YLIDE ADVERTISING" and the amount of $20. The cardholder completed 3DS authentication for this single transaction only.

Missing Acquirer ID on Transaction 1: Transaction 1 (14YLIDE ADVERTISING) has no Acquirer ID, suggesting it may be operating outside normal acquiring relationships. Transactions 2–4, however, are all processed under Acquirer ID 15554 (Nuvei Limited).

In light of the above, we respectfully request that Mastercard:

1. Advise whether Nuvei Limited (Acquirer ID 15554) is compliant with Mastercard’s acquiring obligations regarding merchant registration, descriptor accuracy, and 3DS usage;

2. Confirm whether Nuvei Limited should solo acquere for illegal gambling. The following documentation is available and can be provided upon request:

• Transaction log screenshots showing all four transaction records with timestamps, amounts, merchant descriptors, Acquirer IDs, and 3DS status;

• Screen recordings of the checkout and 3DS authentication flow;

• Network trace data showing the URL redirections during the deposit flow.

We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your response. Please contact us should you require any additional information or documentation.
