The verification process is a big topic when it comes to players experience and online casinos. Some players try to get verified as soon as they register, but some casinos refuse to do it for them.

Other players get verified upon their 1st withdrawal request, but in some cases, the verification takes many days and players end up cancelling their pending withdrawal and losing the winnings.

There are also anonymous casinos where you don't need to get verified at all, but it also brings some additional risks. First of all, playing in anonymous casinos is often against the local law. Additionally, it's problematic to get self-excluded due to problem gambling in a casino where they don't know your identity.

The poll is closed, but there are not many comments so:

1) If I were running a casino I would want to verify at first deposit ... make sure there are no problems with minors, unapproved countries, etc.

However,

2) As a player, I do not want to be bothered with this stuff nor have my information floating around the internet unless absolutely necessary ... so probably at my first withdrawal.

I like the way you looked at it from both perspectives. It's complicated I'd say and most players want to make their withdrawals as quickly as possible. That's probably why a lot of them want to be verified as soon as they start playing in the casino. But I can see that there's another way of looking at it, like you've shown.
