I want to share my experience with 1xBit so other players can make an informed decision.
I registered at 1xBit in October 2019 and deposited 1.5 mBTC. Over the years I placed regular pre-match bets on football and tennis markets offered on the site, with moderate stakes, no bonuses, no arbitrage and no other accounts. In total I staked about 125 mBTC and grew my balance to about 14.6 mBTC.
In March 2026 I suddenly could not log in. The live chat operator told me the company can restrict any user without explanation, and sent me to their security team "so that you can withdraw your funds". The security team then replied that my account was closed "based on a violation of the Terms and Conditions" and that I could "withdraw the deposited sum only". I withdrew my 1.5 mBTC deposit; the remaining 13.07 mBTC were kept.
Since then I have asked them several times, by email, which clause I breached and which bets were affected. They have never answered that question. Their replies were that I "have received all the necessary information" and that the decision "is the final point of the conversation, and it cannot be disputed".
For full transparency: I live in Spain, which is on 1xBit's list of restricted countries. I registered from Spain in 2019 with my real details and IP, the casino knew my location (support asked me about it in 2019), and it accepted my deposits and bets for six years. In recent years I accessed the site through a VPN because it was blocked in Spain. If that is the reason, 1xBit has never said so.
My complaint here on Casino Guru could not be processed because more than six months had passed since the account closure, even though I was in contact with the casino the whole time. I understand the rule, but I hope this post helps others.
Lessons I learned:
Do not keep large balances at an offshore crypto bookmaker. Withdraw your winnings regularly.
If you play from a restricted country, the casino can let you deposit and bet for years and then keep your winnings when they become significant.
Save screenshots of chats and all emails from the start.
If a dispute starts, file a complaint with a mediator as soon as possible: Casino Guru does not accept cases older than six months.
