I deposited $11.92 into my Marathonbet account. Right after that, they blocked my ability to withdraw or place bets, giving no reason, asking for no verification, and only replying with generic "under review" messages for monthsfilefilefile.


After I sent a strong legal escalation and threatened public exposure across forums and watchdogs, they finally refunded the money — but only after intense pressure. No apology, no real explanation, just silence and then refund.


This behavior is extremely shady and irresponsible. Many users might not know how to fight back like I did and may lose their money. I’m sharing this so that people stay aware.

I would like to post something regarding my expierence here,mostly to help others make informed decisions, as i even opened a complain with you,but you did not accept it. So they earned my trust because after making some succesful deposits and withdrawals, i decided to keep a large amount in my account to play, 500 600 and more, so at the end after requesting verification when i had a balance of 810euro,they succesfully verified my account and told me thet had decided to close my account, settle all 1000bets with 1.00 odd and keep my balance of 810 euro. A really dangerous bookmaker or casino how you call it.

I have been playing for a long time with them and they had not asked for verification. Was making deposits and withdrawals were instant. I was requesting withdrawal of 500 600euro they arrived instantly, so the experience it self was really good. I don't know why they decided to close my account as i had no limit decrease, i was receiving freebets and bonuses. I had no indication that there was a possibility for my account to be closed, and even unimaginable that they would confiscate winnings, thats why i was keeping 600 700 800 in balance. Suddendly they requested verification and after sending the nessecary documentation they sent an email that my account is fully verified,and mention a term that we will close the account according to x paragraph of the terms and conditions and will settle all the bets will odd 1.0. I had no unsettled bets so in my opinion if i had placed 1000 bets during one year, they have paid those bets and suddenly after one year they say look we have paid you but now we decide to reverse those bets and keep the money you have won. I had made more than 400euro in deposits the days before and had a balance of 810 so they even not returned my deposits because i was in profit in total.

What I would say about this case is that the casino can close an account without giving a reason. But only if the player does not have an active balance on it. Of course, if you violate any Terms, they can confiscate your winnings and close your account, but if that hasn't happened, it shouldn't be like that.
