Citizens of certain countries, including the United States, Ukraine, France, Italy, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Syria, Jersey, San Marino, Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Lichtenstein, Montenegro, Andorra, China, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Mexico, Belize, Bolivia, Iraq, Iran and the Cayman Islands, are not allowed to create an account and deposit money on the Website.


I asked Blockbets customer support whether in fact Portugal was a restricted country or not, and received the following response (I have a supporting email - Ticket #245):

"Hey there, sorry for missing your chat. As we are a crypto casino we do accept players from Portugal. The terms & conditions are just to be safe in front of regulators I guess. The only countries we restrict from playing at our site is the USA, Netherlands & Cyprus.

After this answer, I was enlightened and made several deposits, and in one specific case, around $950 earned through a bonus was taken away from me, for not meeting the $2 maxbet requirement. Even though I wasn't happy, I understood the reasons and the initial deposit amount was returned to me and they even took the time to give me a symbolic rackback amount.

Meanwhile I received several emails with offers and even that I would have a VPI Host as I was reaching level 50 in the Vip System.


When you Register, i can confirm your Portuguese Phone number and also choose Portugal as your origin country (even tought you cant play pragmatic for example). But the website says VPN Friendly, so no problem...


I submmited my ID (for KYC purposes), and my portuguese ID was accepted (email proof also).


Yesterday, also during a bonus, I won $ 24000.00, and I was left with

$ 26000.00 after finishing a wager of $ 21500.00.

Deposits have always been made in crypto.


I tried to make a withdrawal of 1000.00$ and today I had my account closed by Blockbets and an email saying that the account had been closed for disrespecting the aforementioned clause 6.4 related to my country of origin and obviously I lost access to around 26000.00 $.


Therefore, I would like to obtain your assistance in resolving this situation. The terms and conditions are in fact abusive and contradictory as I have demonstrated and my Nationality was only a problem after i Win a big ammount of money in slots. Even in the review of the withdraw made before, nationality was not a problem.

P.S. - I visited several review sites, including TrustPilot and 95% of the positive reviews are fake.


Their Curacao Licence presented on Website, ended last August.

Hello, after all I've read it's quite strange that the casino allowed you to play here. Did you use a VPN right from the start or not ? Besides, if you asked if players from Portugal can play and they said yes, then it's the casino's fault I guess. Also, if you passed the verification without any problems, then I don't see where the casino shouldn't have paid you if they accepted deposits. This casino is not the best choice and the license you mention is Costa Rica.

I was going to recommend a complaint right away, but I saw that you have already opened it and are waiting for a review, so I hope that it will be possible to help you and it is good that you have kept the evidence.

Det handlade främst om bonusen, följande morgon fick jag reda på att hon inte var behörig att göra några ändringar på spelare. Mitt största problem den morgonen var att jag inte fick svar på min fråga om varför och vad jag inte fick bonusen. När supporten var upptagen och den andra gruppen kom tog det inte ens 10 sekunder innan bonusen dök upp, hon svarade mig inte, hon kunde ha sagt att hon inte var auktoriserad, eller hur?
