Their business are almost foreigner owned, they are a heaven for money laundering and corruption while not bringing that much tax revenues for the country...
They are also completely messing up the neighbourhoods where casinos are settling by offering terrible wages while having the price of everything around skyrocketting (virtually blocking Cambodian people from staying in those area).
I had the "chance" to pass by Sianoukville for 2 days before Covid and that's a damn nightmare thanks to those "Chinese casino paradise" investments the city is totally uncapable of handling đ€ź Awful experience
