In my opinion, this is a great practice. Also, I have this bias towards slots that offer fun mode. I have this thinking that they are legit slots because they can give you the 'experience' before you 'invest' in them. What about if the fun modes are coded in a different way than real money ? reasoning from Tech perspective its easy to do that and trick the players.

That's the problem. I believe it can happen, especially in casinos with a dubious reputation. On the other hand, I'm convinced catching the casino is almost impossible. The general statement goes as:
