I do have the proof. I screenshot everything. It's disgusting how they are allowed to operate in this way. It reveals the true extent of their unlawful practices. Perhaps I will file a complaint with casino guru. I have a lot of evidence

I'd like to say the option is here. My honest wish and advice: go ahead and complain.
I've read this thread from the start, and I respect all your experiences and struggles. The best course of action is always to submit the complaints; the only risk is that the issue may be outside of our purview or area of expertise. There is no chance of anything worse happening, and a bonus? The potential direct effect on the Safety Index is a significant consideration.

I'm not sure what it would achieve filing a complaint with casino guru? I came here originally due to the forum to help/share advice on getting deposits back. As I say I'd much rather have the 210k in my hands, wouldn't you? But unfortunately these sites refrained me from taking my winnings, despite being fully verified. Sad state of affairs.

Just to add the context: the information about licenses and allowed countries is not a warning; it is information for players. I understand that this information may seem unusual in this particular thread, but we prioritize transparency. Therefore, the green tick indicates that the casino still welcomes players from the UK, even though the UKGC license is absent. Players are free to check the license information anytime in the review. The button has nothing to do with any affiliation; we just know that many players prefer bonuses, and tests showed us that they need this button to navigate to the casino. Don't get me wrong here, but if players are not willing to read the review or guides, they may find many things confusing.
I personally do not consider every player from the UK to be addicted and in my opinion, the MCC codes are a thread just for the addicted players with active banking gambling blocks. For the rest, though, it is just the way to receive the money or deposit.
Using an incorrect merchant code doesn't necessarily make every deposit an act of scam. If a reasonable player wants to play outside his regulator, I see that as a choice, a free option.
Well, I hope you are not offended. I just wanted to explain the basics. Of course, from the legal perspective, the matter would be quite different; however, this thread suggests that even the legal aspect is not straightforward or universally applicable.
In any case, when it comes to addicted players registered on Gamstop, I see the offshore casinos as the only option since the player is unable to play under his regulator anymore, which is the worst part of all this. I wish there were unified responsible gambling standards, which would prevent this.
Like I said, I empathize with you, but there is nothing Casino Guru could do about it the third-party merchants have always been there, as have the players who wish to play in such casinos. 🙁

Radka, we have clashed before on this and I won't go into it again but I need to pull up this comment "Using an incorrect merchant code doesn't necessarily make every deposit an act of scam". This is wrong - gambling is a restricted MCC for a reason, regulated goods which carry a high fraud risk. VISA and Mastercard very clearly in their rules state that you can only use this code if you are a fully compliant and verified merchant category - Special Merchant Category. Failing to use this code completely changes the accounting principles of the transaction, the taxation treatment and means it can be hidden as something else. By definition it is money laundering. You don't need to be a legal expert to work it out.
I'd take your point if you were online paying for groceries and it showed on your card as electronic goods - this is where a minor miscoding has applied. For highly restricted and regulated goods you can't just put a grocery or electric code - it is restricted for the reasons outlined.
Also children use debit cards now - by not using the correct coding for gambling you are opening the door for them to gamble online because nothing will be age restricted! Rules are in place for a reason.

The biggest issue is that they’re 100% scamming. The fact they have to use a different merchant code to even received the transaction because they know they can’t transact with UK players under the gambling act 2005 under section 33. Then if you get to deposit chances are they will give you the run around when it comes to withdrawing. For instance I deposited said amount on a casino in Curacao went to withdraw, was told my account was banned due to playing from a restricted area yet they allowed me to deposit multiple times over two weeks.

I will do mate, I've exhausted so much time and energy around this issue one step at a time. I have just had my dispute overturned after my complaint with monzo. The chargebacks have now been raised and ive also been compensated for their poor service. If I go into something with intention I firstly need to cover all aspects so it's indisputable. That's why it's important to keep all evidence as you go along. Luckily I kept screenshots of everything to strengthen my case but it's how you put it across and explain the story start to finish that's most important.

Yes raise a case here if you won the money fairly then they are good at getting the money paid out or use Casinomeister open a PAB(pitch a bitch) case they usually work as long as no T&C’s have been breached

How are people dealing with revolut when raise chargebacks but they are rejecting them as the payment to them is showing as cash/bank transfer?
is the only way to email them a complaint? They are 100 percent card payments. struggling big time with them

For those that have reached settlement, did you also go down the chargeback route and/or ombudsman?
if so, did you have to deduct your chargebacks or winnings from the ombudsman (let’s say it held your bank accountable) from the settlement figure?

I discussed this topic with a few colleagues. Based on that, I wanted to say this practice is, sadly, nothing new. I'm not justifying any of this, but since it has become a business standard, as I explained, Casino Gurus just can't mark all casinos as spam for using this practice. This is what I wanted to express.
Children are not supposed to play in casinos at all so despite how stupid it may sound, even such complaints ended as rejected no matter the codes or payment providers.

Can’t believe it lol, WBMSC have made a fake receipt and sent it to the bank in regards to my dispute despite the fact I have emails from WBMSC saying they don’t recognise the exact same transaction 🤣 it just shows how dumb these casinos really are. I have all the proof against them.

Im not questioning the ratings - we had this discussion previously, I understand how your ratings work. I was questioning your comment "doesnt neccesarily mean an act of scam". It is a scam/money laundering/fraud and its not my definition - it's literally the two biggest providers of card services on the planet that are stating this and it's their service!
You need to ask yourself this question - if these casinos had any ethics or legitimacy they would apply for Special Category Status(as all legitimate MGA/UKGC etc casinos do) to accept gambling payments. They 100% know what they are doing and have setup vast merchant networks to bypass the clear restrictions. It enables them to bypass banking blocks, credit card blocks and age restrictions and to accept ANYONE as a customer from anywhere in the world.
