I've just got a response from Monzo in relation to a ton of individual transactions. They've declined my request, even after stating these companies are committing fraud via MCC, transaction fraud and money laundering.


They're providing an illegal gambling service. And doing this to circumvent my active gambling block on my account.


Seems like there's no way forward for me. Don't know what to say or do. I've lost £17k via monzo since the 1st of May, when my gambling block was active.


Feel so helpless!

Also, my bank has forwarded my disputes to the relevant department, said it may take longer for the dispute to be settled "due to the nature of it" (them offering services illegally)


Got my fingers crossed they resolve it, if not i'm going to go to an ombudsman as they've (goldenbet) definitely acted illegally

Has anyone got in touch with Mastercard or Visa and reported their bank for not complying with combating transaction laundering?


I've got a gambling block on my debit cards. Plus all credit cards automatically have a block on gambling in the UK, since 2020.


However, these transactions just bypass them. And yet our banks and credit cards expect to take no liability or blame, even though they can definitely claim back the money and not at all be out of pocket if they wanted to!


What's all of your thoughts on this?

Om en transaktion är 3D-Secure verifierad ligger ansvaret på banken. Och banken vill vanligtvis inte bråka med handlarna om verifierade transaktioner om de avvisar eller bestrider en återbetalning. Om du har ett spelspärr på ditt kreditkort, varför skulle du godkänna betalningarna igen? Så man kan säga: Det är ditt eget fel, helt ärligt 😉

VISA och Mastercard har varit överväldigade av detta problem i flera år, men de har ingenting att göra med transaktionerna; de tillhandahåller bara systemet för betalningar. Allt annat sköts av bankerna och tjänsteleverantörerna; de ingriper endast indirekt vid återkrav.


Enligt mina uppgifter är Visa och Mastercard-systemet föråldrat och ganska lätt att lura. Har du nödvändig IT-kunskap kan du programmera som du vill 😉

VISA kontaktade mig för några år sedan efter en förfrågan, liksom Mastercard. Enligt deras uppgifter är det bankerna som dikterar MCC, så de korrupta bankerna i Nigeria, Kenya, Cypern och Storbritannien är skyldiga till hela frågan. Wirecard visade vägen då med speltransaktioner och dagens banker kopierar det helt enkelt 😉 Kreditkortssystemet relaterade till spel har helt enkelt hamnat i händerna på kriminella som hanterar betalningar som de vill.
