I have determined that a lot of online casino's are just scam's.

Theese reasons are why they are very shady to deal with.

They use shell companies to process gambling transactions. This is because online casinos are banned in Australia.

The mastercard codes they use to process transactions are not the truth. Marking the category as just general shopping, instead of a gambling transaction. People with gambling addictions have gambling blocks on their cards. Incorrect merchant caregories gets around the issue of cards getting declined due to gambling block.

Sneaky T and C's, where one online casino said you have to turn over your deposit 3 times before you can withdraw. So if you gambled $15o0, you would then have to wager over $3000 in order to be able to withdraw funds.

I've been not using online casino's and have disputed each transaction with my bank. What I do to get my money back is to complain to the banking ombudsman in Australia.

The banks finally listen and was successful in getting my money back by going through AFCA (Banking ombudsman). However it was not a chargeback, the bank said they took the financial hit as a goodwill guesture and if I ever use online casino's again they may close my account.

Hi- my bank has agreed to raise a chargeback to an unlicensed casino (for legitimate reasons) - what are the chances of an unlicensed casino fighting back?
